Serta Simmons Bedding Announces New Moreno Valley, California Operations Manager

Company, industry veteran will lead the plant’s manufacturing operations

ATLANTA (Aug. 28, 2017) – Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC (“SSB”), the largest manufacturer and distributor of mattresses in the United States, has announced that John Eberly will lead the company’s Moreno Valley, CA, manufacturing plant as Operations Manager. In his new role, John will be responsible for leading the operations of the current Moreno Valley plant and overseeing the start-up of the company’s new, larger Moreno Valley plant, scheduled to open later this year to meet increased demand in the West region.

John will be responsible for the plant’s supply management, manufacturing process and implementation of change initiatives. He will also ensure implementation of operating methods and procedures to ensure product quality and safety for SSB’s two leading brands, Serta® and Beautyrest®.

John previously served as Operations Manager at SSB’s Waycross, Ga., plant. He brings more than 30 years of production and operations experience to the Moreno Valley plant, a consistent record of process improvement, and world-class performance achievement with companies such as Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard, and Philips.
