SIMMONS® LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCTS TARGETING GEN Z & MILLENNIALS AT LAS VEGAS MARKET

The relaunched brand presents a new collection of value-priced mattresses, infused with fun

Atlanta, GA. (January 26, 2020)Simmons® is showcasing an expanded collection of compressed and flat mattresses, geared toward Gen Z and young Millennial audiences, at Las Vegas Market. The new products are part of the reimagined 150-year old brand and are rooted in research and consumer insights.

Designed specifically for the way Gen Z and Millennials are buying and hanging out in beds today, Simmons mattresses aim to bring the fun back to sleep and prove that mattresses should be for more than just catching ZZZs.

“Our research shows that younger generations are craving simpler choices and more convenience to match their lifestyle,” said Laura Brewick, Vice President of Marketing for Simmons. “That’s why the newly expanded Simmons line offers quick-ship, value-priced products that are built for living and perfect for hanging out, streaming, scrolling and so much more.”

The compressed mattress products range in price from $399 to $549, and the four flat mattresses range from $199 to $499. All products are designed to look like a family and contain layers of cooling and supporting foam, with a special ingredient of extra comfy, soft gel memory foam.   

Simmons also unveiled its “Just for Fun-ZZZ’s” marketing campaign, which includes entertaining videos, catchy sleep phrases like “We’ve Got Foam-Oh” and “Keep Your Cool and Coil Up,” and engaging in-bed games to connect with consumers digitally and socially. In April 2020, Simmons plans to launch its own direct-to-consumer website to help bring the Fun-ZZZs back to sleep.

Simmons will showcase the expanded product lines at Las Vegas Market. Attendees can visit Simmons at A-525 to sample and experience an assortment of Simmons and Beautyrest 2020 products.
