At Serta Simmons Bedding, we are constantly evolving our product lines to add new features that meet sleepers’ needs. This year, across our portfolio of brands, we are bringing significant newness to the market. Today, we are excited to unveil our latest launch — the new Mint Hybrid Mattress from Tuft & Needle.

The Tuft & Needle Mint Hybrid Mattress, which is available on TuftandNeedle.com, at Tuft & Needle retail stores and through our retail partners, builds on the features of our award-winning Mint mattress, with the brand’s signature Adaptive foam technology infused with ceramic cooling gel and heat-wicking graphite, while integrating individually wrapped springs for motion control and nanocoils for support and pressure relief.

Highlight updates to the Mint Hybrid include:

  • Our Coolest Tuft & Needle Mattress Yet – For those who sleep hot, we have enhanced the cooling technology in the Mint Hybrid by integrating a diamond-infused memory foam layer that pulls heat away from the body. This new layer, which works alongside the cooling gel in our adaptive foam to provide additional cooling relief, replaces the pillow top layer that was used in the previous model.
  • Removeable and Washable Cover – In response to consumer demand, we are bringing the convenience of our machine washable top cover, first introduced by Tuft & Needle with the Mint mattress last year, to our hybrid model for the first time.
  • New Aesthetics – The Mint Hybrid also mirrors the aesthetics of the other mattresses in the Tuft & Needle portfolio, incorporating the brand’s trademark mint accents for a more united look across the assortment.

Serta Simmons Bedding’s Tuft & Needle Brand Launches New Marketing Campaign, Update to Award-Winning Mint Mattress


More and more, consumers are recognizing how sleep and wellness are intrinsically intertwined. We recently conducted a survey on Americans’ opinions on sleep and found that three-quarters of people note that sleep impacts their mood and overall outlook on life, while two-thirds also agree that sleep impacts their physical health and mental wellbeing.

However, despite acknowledging the importance of sleep, two thirds of Americans note that they don’t get enough of it, with seven out of ten people admitting they get less than seven hours of sleep per night.

At Tuft & Needle, we are focused on helping sleepers get better rest. This week, we are launching a new marketing campaign, Wake Up Awake, which reflects our relentless commitment to helping consumers reclaim the night and look forward to the day ahead. Our campaign celebrates what people wake up for – from a mom who gets up for her first meeting of the day (with her child), to a young professional enjoying 700 square feet to herself in her first place without roommates. The campaign will run on digital platforms and will be featured in Tuft & Needle’s eight retail stores, among other activations.

Timed to the launch of the new campaign, we are also unveiling an update to our award-winning Tuft & Needle Mint Mattress which now features a machine washable cover for the first time. We added the cover in direct response to consumer feedback after hearing from parents, pet parents and people with allergies, among others, who were simply looking for a way to clean their mattress on a more regular basis.

Designed with two sleepers in mind, the Mint Mattress is a 11.5-inch mattress comprised of three layers of foam to deliver medium-firm, responsive support for a deep, restful sleep. The top layer is constructed from patented T&N Adaptive™ foam, which is open cell for better air flow, and incorporates graphite and cooling gel for heat-wicking. Next is a second layer of T&N Adaptive foam, which is infused with cooling ceramic gel, that provides additional pressure relief and helps reduce motion transfer. Finally, the base layer offers 6.5″ of foundational support foam to prevent sinking and features reinforced edges that offer additional support.

Tuft & Needle Offers Wiped-Out Parents a ‘Sleep Ambassador Program’ to Reclaim Their Sleep

PHOENIX, Oct. 18, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Tuft & Needle, the digitally native sleep company that revolutionized the way mattresses are designed and sold, today announced an opportunity for wiped-out parents across the nation with its new Sleep Ambassador Program. Now open coast-to-coast, Tuft & Needle will select a cohort of parents for a six-week program filled with $75,000 worth of products, services and solutions to help them take back control of their sleep.

More than ever, the wellness benefits that quality sleep provides are critical to staying healthy as parents around the country continue living through pandemic fatigue. Nine in 10 parents don’t get the recommended amount of sleep, according to a study from mattress review authority Sleep Junkie. The research also found that new parents lose an average of three hours of sleep each night during their child’s first year — equating to an extra month and a half of staying awake by their child’s first birthday. The Tuft & Needle Sleep Ambassador Program is an open call for parents from all walks of life to prioritize their sleep wellness as an act of self-care.

Additionally, they’ll be able to measure their progress as tracked by the Oura Ring provided through the program.
