In fact, our in-house design team is led by Lauren Lauricella who has a background in fashion design.   • Luxury Materials – Luxury isn’t just in the look, it’s also in the feel. For the first time, we incorporated luxury materials, such as cashmere, in the mattress cover. About Seaqual 4U

Seaqual 4U was established in 2016 by three key players in the textile industry: the ECOALF foundation, textile group SANTANDERINA and the ANTEX spinning mill. Its objective is to produce a recycled polyester fibre created by upcycling deep sea plastic waste. To achieve this, Seaqual 4U now uses a fleet of 400 fishing boats and 1,500 fishermen who clear the sea depths of pollution as they fish the seas. New lines offer simplified brand architecture, build on Beautyrest’s legacy of innovation

(ATLANTA – Jan. 25, 2019) – The Beautyrest® brand, one of the industry’s leading mattress brands, is excited to premier its new products at this month’s Las Vegas Market. Featuring a simplified brand architecture, the 2019 Beautyrest portfolio will include new offerings within the Beautyrest Black®, Beautyrest Silver® and Beautyrest CompleteTM lines as well as the launch of the new Beautyrest Hybrid line and a new promotional Beautyrest line.

The line also features BlackICETM 4.0 Technology, which uses four cooling methods in the brand’s most advanced temperature-management system for cooler, better sleep, as well as specially curated memory foams to reduce pressure points in the hips and shoulders. Select models include the new RightTempTM Memory Foam infused with highly conductive and strong carbon fiber for temperature management and durability.

Beautyrest Black continues to visually distinguish itself on the retail floor with a new sophisticated charcoal gray double-channel quilted border and a modern chevron pattern on the top of the mattress, which adds interest by creating the illusion of motion. L-Class models feature this top panel in a white background with gray pattern while C-Class and K-Class beds display the design in a gray background with white lines. All models also feature an updated medallion design with a simplified logo for a more modern look.

Beautyrest Hybrid is a new line designed with one goal in mind: a more conforming mattress. While Beautyrest established the hybrid mattress category in 2008, the 2019 Beautyrest Hybrid line will be the first stand-alone hybrid collection for the brand.

Priced from $999 to $2,299, the new Beautyrest Hybrid line leverages Beautyrest’s history within the hybrid category and features eight models, which rely on key technologies to help sleepers obtain their best rest. Beautyrest Hybrid features the world’s premier support system – its 1000 Series Beautyrest Pocketed Coil

Technology provides motion separation for undisturbed sleep, along with enhanced conforming properties and individualized back support. The exclusive ContourFitTM Design offers a superior stretch and recovery surface, which allows sleepers to engage more closely with pressure-relieving memory foams for deeper, easier sleep.

Models also incorporate one of three hybrid cooling technologies – InfiniCoolTM, a cool-to-the-touch fabric on the mattress sleeping surface; InfiniCool-Plus, which features two cool-to-the-touch layers, on the cover and just below the cover, to offer a cool sensation while falling asleep; or InfiniCool MAX, which pairs the cooling power of InfiniCool-Plus with a layer of RightTemp Memory Foam to pull heat away from the body during the night.

Select models include additional pressure-relieving comfort and support layers, including HD Memory Foam, Beautyrest Gel Memory Foam, Comfort ResponseTM Latex, or BackCare® 3X, a layer of 2,000 additional micro coils that provide triple the number of supporting coils for enhanced pressure relief and conforming comfort.

All Beautyrest Hybrid models are guaranteed to offer lasting comfort, with the line’s warranty reflecting a 3⁄4” impression tolerance. Aesthetically, models feature a chevron pattern on the top panel that ties it to the new Beautyrest Black line but uses lighter gray and yellow tones for a distinct look.

Premiering this January are 13 Beautyrest Silver models ranging in price from $699 to $1,099. All mattresses in the line focus on offering increased durability, a fresh and cool sleep environment, and pressure-relieving comfort.

March 9, 2018 (New York, NY) – Composer Max Richter will give the North American debut concert of SLEEP made possible by premiere sponsor Beautyrest® and secondary sponsor Philips on March 12 at SXSW in Austin, TX. Beautyrest mattresses will replace traditional concert seating so attendees can immerse themselves into the eight-hour overnight SLEEP experience. Doors open at 11pm on March 12 at Bass Hall and the concert ends at 8:30AM on March 13. Admission is open to SXSW Platinum and Music badges only.

The landmark work SLEEP was released on Deutsche Grammophon in 2015 to great critical acclaim. The eight-hour long piece is intended to send the listener to sleep; “the music is at times so soft and trance-inducing that you can’t help but slip into a relaxed state,” commented the Wall Street Journal. Scored for piano, strings, electronics and vocals, it’s Richter’s “personal lullaby for a frenetic world,” he explains, and “a manifesto for a slower pace of existence.”

After being performed in Berlin, London, Sydney, Madrid, Zürich, Paris and Amsterdam, SLEEP will finally receive its North American concert premiere at SXSW. Universal Music Group and Brands (UMGB), the brand activation unit of Universal Music Group, brought together top-tier brands to elevate this traditional concert experience.

(ATLANTA – Jan. 25, 2018) – The Beautyrest® brand, one of the industry’s leading mattress brands, is excited to introduce two new lines – the Beautyrest Platinum™ and Beautyrest Complete™ collections – at this month’s Las Vegas Market, along with key additions to its Beautyrest Black® and Beautyrest Silver™ offerings. Beautyrest will also provide dealers with a look at the brand’s new “Be More Awake” marketing campaign, which will launch to consumer audiences later this year. Together, the new introductions and new marketing campaign position the brand for success in advance of the 2018 selling season.

Featuring a contemporary aesthetic with simple yet sophisticated patterns, the new Beautyrest Platinum line comprises 16 innerspring and hybrid models ranging in price from $1,299 to $2,999 that focus on regulating the nuances of temperature and support to offer smarter, restorative rest.

The 11 Beautyrest Platinum innerspring models and five hybrid models incorporate temperature-management technologies, such as the new InfiniCool™ Surface and InfiniCool HD Surface, which are enhanced with cooling materials to help move heat away from the body. Select innerspring models include BackCare® 3X, a support layer engineered with over 2,000 pressure-relief microcoils, while all hybrid models offer the new PressureSense™ Hybrid Support System, which features alternating Pocketed Coil® springs and Pocketed Memory Foam™ in the center third of the bed that conform to the body for the right balance of pressure relief and support.

Furthermore, the brand will include a complimentary Beautyrest Sleeptracker® monitor with all Beautyrest Platinum mattresses in 2018, adding extra value to each purchase while giving consumers the unique smart bed benefits of monitoring and improving their sleep with any Beautyrest Platinum bed.


Designed to work with Beautyrest mattresses as a comprehensive system, the Beautyrest Complete collection features pillows, mattress covers and pillow covers that help customers transform their sleep from mere rest to renewal. The seven pillows in the collection include memory-foam and non-memory-foam options, as well as an array of comfort levels and price points that will fit any customer’s sleep needs. While a set of machine-washable fiber pillows priced at $35 serves as a promotional offering, the collection’s pillow portfolio features an $89 opening price point and provides consumers with a choice of memory foam or moisture-wicking fiber technologies – both of which provide temperature-management benefits. Luxury options include two Beautyrest Black-branded pillows priced at $149 – one composed of memory foam with an AllerPur™ Technology cover to keep the sleep environment clean and fresh, while the other is 100 percent goose down with a 400-thread-count Supima® cotton cover.

Featuring a cutting-edge design that is unlike anything in the marketplace, Beautyrest Black AirCool™ mattress and pillow covers wick away moisture, enhance comfort, relieve pressure and increase breathability. Four new Beautyrest Black Special Edition models will be added to the current Beautyrest Black collection in 2018. Offering a choice of feels at $3,299 and $3,699, the new models pair Advanced Pocketed Coil™ Technology with a layer of 2,200 contouring nanocoils for refined support and spinal alignment. Each Special Edition bed also includes a new HD Performance Knit fabric cover that is designed to wick moisture away from the sleep surface. Beginning in 2018, Beautyrest will include a complimentary Beautyrest Sleeptracker® monitor with the purchase of any Beautyrest Black mattress, enabling customers to transform their Beautyrest Black bed into a smart bed.

This January also marks the premiere of three new Beautyrest Silver models, which are designed to emphasize key price points and allow dealers to promote them more deeply. The introductions include two euro top models that offer a choice of feels at $799, along with a pillow top option that when paired with the existing Beautyrest Silver portfolio provides a triple choice at the $999 price point.


Las Vegas Market attendees will get a preview of Beautyrest’s upcoming 2018 marketing campaign, which conveys how the brand’s unparalleled science and technology helps consumers explore the boundaries of sleep. Building on the theme “Be More Awake,” the campaign pairs visceral elements with live action and bold copy to reframe the conversation around sleep.
